A Token Of Our Deep Respect

For The Tribe

A tribute to the battle-hardened Border Patrol Agents, Office of Field Operations, and Air and Marine Agents of CBP, and the elite federal, state and local law enforcement agencies who came together in 2025–2026 to conduct the nation's largest interior immigration campaign in history.

For a year, you carried out your duty, tackling the toughest assignments in our nation's toughest cities in the face of relentless pressure. Together we went into the most non-permissive environments possible, carrying out legal, ethical and moral law enforcement duties every step of the way. As we say in the Border Patrol — you held the line.

This bottle salutes your exceptionalism. You were made for that impossible assignment, the one that means going all in with no questions asked. You did your part.

"No standing by, no shortcuts, just results. Mean Green always."

Tasting Notes

Color
Deep amber to burnished copper with mahogany highlights and medium-to-heavy legs.
Nose
Caramel and dark vanilla over toasted corn and cornbread crust, then cinnamon and rye spice, roasted pecan, dark cherry, dried orange peel, charred oak, and a curl of tobacco and leather.
Palate
Sweet corn, brown sugar, and vanilla bean up front; a rye backbone of black pepper, clove, and nutmeg through the middle, with orange zest, dark cherry, cocoa, and toasted nuts. Wheat softens the center, barley lends toasted grain and biscuit.
Body
Full and viscous — pot still weight, kept clean and unaggressive by lautering and a moderate #3 char.
Finish
Long and warm — caramel and cinnamon giving way to black pepper, dark fruit, roasted pecan, tobacco, and oak char in a clean, disciplined fade.

The Commander

Thirty years
on the line.

Gregory K. Bovino entered on duty with the U.S. Border Patrol in 1996 as a member of Academy Class 325. Across three decades he rose from agent to Chief Patrol Agent. In 2000 he was selected as a member of the elite Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC) where he deployed domestically across the United States for tactical, natural disaster, and homeland security missions as well as on foreign assignments to Honduras, Australia, Ukraine, Egypt, and Africa. Within the U.S. Border Patrol, Bovino helped develop the Border Patrol Marksman–Observer Program and pioneered modern interior-enforcement models. Alongside what he regarded as the finest agents and professional staff in the U.S. Border Patrol, Bovino established El Centro, "The Premier Sector," as the only sector in the nation to remain completely closed during both the COVID-19 pandemic and the unprecedented border invasion under the Biden administration.

In 2025–26, following a highly successful immigration enforcement operation in Bakersfield, California, Bovino was named Commander at Large and tasked with leading what became the largest interior immigration enforcement operation in U.S. history, spanning Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte, New Orleans, and Minneapolis. His operational strategy was forged over three decades of watching the consequences of failed leadership: manipulated metrics, decision-makers with little meaningful border-security experience, bureaucratic inertia, and politicians who treated immigration as a vehicle for political advantage rather than a responsibility owed to the American people.

1996Enters duty, U.S. Border Patrol — Academy Class 325, assigned to El Centro Station.
2000Selected to the Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC) — tactical, disaster and homeland security missions at home; foreign assignments to Honduras, Australia, Ukraine, Egypt and Africa.

2004Assistant Chief, Special Operations Division, U.S. Border Patrol Headquarters, Washington, D.C., where he planned, executed, and led Operation Stonegarden that established an enduring gold standard for integrating state, local, and tribal law-enforcement partners into the nation's border-security mission.
2008Patrol Agent in Charge, Blythe Station; leading interior traffic checkpoint operations as well as the notable interior operation “Operation Don't Let 'Em Ride” in Las Vegas, Nevada.
2012Patrol Agent in Charge, Imperial Beach Station — leads 417 agents and staff.
2018Chief Patrol Agent, New Orleans Sector. Led U.S. Border Patrol operations across an expansive multi-state area of responsibility encompassing the entirety of Louisiana, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas.
